white and tan
When I first got these pants, I was so excited to have a suede-looking pair of pants, or actually just any pair of pants that isn't black.
Ordinarily, I would go for authentic suede pants, but since these are faux suede, I don't get too hot. It actually turned out for the better. I probably won't be able to keep wearing them as we get the 100 degree heat we usually have in the summer. So for now, I'm going to be rocking these as much as possible ;)
The suede look of the pants made this outfit just the right amount of 'fancy' for my taste. I wanted to keep the jewelry simple, so I went with my usual simple gold chains.
Since it's been a bit overcast, a soft trench was the perfect choice to go over my outfit.
Once again I went with my trusty Manolo Chaos sandals. These are the lower heel version, so they're much easier to walk in.
This Ralph Lauren bag is one of my favorites, I liked it so much I got another in tan. They're amazing quality, and keep looking brand new for years (I've had this bag for over a year). Also, a leather bag at that price is unbeatable. I like bags that are somewhat on trend, but not the same ones every single person has.
I'm reminded of Ines de la Fressange's quote: "French women don't want to be trendy, they know what suits them. It is more about style than trends." -- A motto for life :P
Speaking of trends, the crop top is the one thing I really can't get enough of. I never thought I'd be showing my pasty white stomach this much, but it's actually gotten a bit of a tan from being in the sunlight all the time!
I made my top by taking in a simple tank I had lying around. And you can do the same. I used my sewing machine, but if you don't have one, it's easy to blind stitch the hem by hand ;)
And there you have it, a simple, every-day outfit with just a hint of fancy-ness :DD
Happy almost Friday, and have a great rest of the week!
