I know it's not technically the first day of spring, but it's so warm out today that it feels like it's already here. I was going to make a post about Spring color and how now is the perfect time to bust it out. But I actually made a mistake. When I was looking through Pantone's color of the year, which is greenery, for some reason I thought it was a more turquoise green. Turns out I was wrong. But oh well! This dress is a great spring color and I have no regrets!
For some reason it always looks extremely blue in photos, but it's actually greenish blue, which I think would fall into Pantone's greenery family. I love the spring look of this dress, and pairing it with my python sandals made it feel all the more like spring is here.
As far as spring color is concerned, this DVF dress is a perfect match. It has a perfect combination of colors. This Camilla dress is perfect for spring with its style and color. And this short sleeve embroidered dress is great if you like the turquoise.
However, I love the idea of wearing green around this time. Something about it just reminds me of freshness, and a new start; just like spring itself!
I paired this dress with a long blazer from Missguided. I remember reading something from the Sartorialist, and he said he loves the look of a long jacket over a short dress, it looks like I'm not wearing pants!
Finally, to complete the spring color look, I went with python sandals. I'm wearing these all the time because they're just perfect with everything!
I don't know, I have to say I'm kind of going to miss the colder weather! What do you guys think? Leave me some comments and let me know!
