I really like the ruffle sleeve and skirt hems I've been seeing around. It reminds of something you'd dance flamenco in. And it's a great summer look, so I thought I'd go with a little spanish revival for today's post.
What I love about this whole outfit is that the DVF skirt is both a dress and a skirt. Obviously, I love when clothes can function as both, so I'm really happy with it. Incidentally, it ended up being the perfect match for this top, which is also pretty cool.
Get The Look
I was looking for a ruffle crop top that was a little smaller than this one (Missguided, $19), but it worked out really well. It's also looser, which would be great for some of my other outfits. The drop shoulder is also a great addition to the Spanish revival look!
The DVF skirt is also perfect in this spanish revival get-up, it just looks like a tango or flamenco costume skirt. The front ruffles are really flattering on anyone, as they make our legs look longer.
I love when everything matches. And this Zara bag (Zara, $55.90) is lined with red, the perfect match for my shoes and lipstick. It's just a nice way to round off the whole outfit, and break away from all black.
Keep the jewelry super simple, so as not to take away from this 'going out dancing' look.
