Please Add Color
So now that I'm using Safari as my web browser it automatically corrects colour to color ;) Maybe it's for the best. I need more color in my wardrobe, starting with these lavender shorts.
These shorts are Tibi, found here. The lavender looks great, but this brighter purple is really pretty too. Tibi has great quality fabric, and although these shorts aren't lavender, they are similar style to mine.
I like the kind of short that looks like a skirt; it's a nicer option to the standard spring uniform of cutoffs. These Derek Lam shorts are a printed version. I also like these lace ones, perfect for a summery look.
I chose this leather jacket because I like the contrast between the girly shorts and the moto style. This one is a versatile motorcycle jacket that you could wear all year. This Current/Elliot jacket is a steal, on sale now.
I wore a crop top because I don't like tucking a shirt into these shorts. I think it looks more like a spring outfit this way.
This Alice + Olivia top is really similar to mine, which I made myself from a too-big shirt I found in my closet. This Nannette Lepore top is a perfect knit version. This crop top is a more structured version, and on sale! And if you want more coverage, this top is perfect, also on sale.
I went with my Manolo Chaos again. I swear, I could go hiking in these shoes; they go with everything, and are so comfortable. I think it's because they're the lower heeled version.
For a similar style, check out these sandals. They have a lower heel too, so they would be easy to walk in. But if you believe the higher the heel, the better -- these Schutz sandals are right for you.
I'm not a big fan of wearing a ton of jewelry. I wouldn't be caught dead with an arm party, so I just chose a simple Ralph Lauren bracelet (on sale now!).
Today is the spring equinox, which is the perfect time to celebrate the beginning of spring with some color in your outfit! It's also a great day to recharge, connect with nature, and get ready for the season ahead.
Have a great Sunday night, and an easy beginning of the week!
