Pantone Serenity

For the first time ever (I think), there are two colours of the year. Pantone chose both Serenity and Rose Quartz because of how they compliment each other. Even Sephora's already come out with a Serenity lipstick. The Pantone Serenity colour is a light blue while rose quartz is pink. pantone serenity 1060

I really wanted to try Pantone serenity and luckily, it's been a little warmer here, so this outfit worked out well.

My top is Alberta Ferretti (here's one from a similar collection). There are a lot of Alberta Ferretti tops found at The Real Real, which is becoming my favorite consignment store.

This top is one of my favourites, and it's the perfect shade of light blue.

This BCBG top is a lighter shade of blue, and a perfect choice if you don't want to jump head-first into the trend.

Pantone serenity is nothing to be scared of though, as you can see from this casual dress. I also love this dress, it's the perfect spring staple, in both colour and cut.

Anytime I choose to wear colour, I always like to pair it with neutrals. This simple BCBG mini skirt is my go-to. Another good simple mini is this one T by Alexander Wang skirt.

I also like this Christopher Kane skirt for the embroidery on the front. This Alice + Olivia skirt is a great choice if you don't like the super tight mini look.

This whole outfit reminded me of a Fendi spring collection from a few years ago, so I went with lace up sandals to complete the look.

Mine are Tibi, which sadly, aren't around anymore, but I found these Stuart Weitzman suede laceups that are really similar. These Aquazurra are gorgeous laceups as well.

I hope you all liked my look, and don't feel too jealous that I can wear this in the middle of winter ;) Spring will come sooner than you think!

Will you be trying the Pantone serenity colour out for yourself?
