loubs and red lips
I chose this outfit to work around my red lipstick and the red soles of my Louboutin shoes. In this case, clothes serve the woman, not the other way around.
When we fall victim to consumerism, that changes. We become dependent on items, and lose ourselves. Clothes are meant to enhance us.
Another similar charm necklace from David Yurman.

And of course, Ruby Woo lipstick to match the sole. Another classic that doesn't go out of style.
This top is double layered, with only the bottom tucked in.
I love the simplicity of the look, yet it still serves its' purpose by being unique. It's not a shrine to trends or consumerism, but a representation of who I am.
And isn't that what fashion is all about after all?
