in the jeans
Jbrand skinny jeans, available here in high-rise, or here in black. They fit so well, and are really flattering on any body type. If you don't like the super-skinny look, try these in a more relaxed leg.
There's been some argument about whether Jbrand is better than Levi's. Levi's price is much more welcoming, but I've never tried them. If you swear by Levi's, here's a similar option to my jeans.
Of course I paired my jeans with my favorite Rebecca Minkoff silk tank. (Can you tell I love this top? Not from my expression, haha). I love it because it's just a simple white tank, but the tiered layers give it an edge. Here it is for sale at Bloomingdale's. I love Rebecca Minkoff's bags, but this is my first time trying her clothing. It is impeccable quality. It really is a steal at this price, the silk is so soft and luxurious.
Jeans just aren't the same with flat shoes or sneakers. I really wanted to give this look a more chic, sophisticated feel, so I added my trusty Louboutins. There's something about adding heels to jeans that make them immediately look more high-end. Mine are just the Simple Pump in suede, but I also love these Art Deco-reminiscent creations!
My jewelry is simple -- Ralph Lauren toggle bracelet (here, and here's one on sale!). Silver bangles (similar here and here), a set is great because you can wear them all together or separately getting more versatility, and therefore use, out of your purchase. My necklace is from Saks, and it's still available!! I love this simple chain, it's not too bright, and goes well with jeans as well as an evening dress!
