holiday party 2
You guys, I lied! Before, when I posted an all white holiday look, I spoke too soon (or actually blogged too soon). This is what that holiday party outfit was really supposed to be ;)
To be perfectly honest, I forgot about that top because it was too big. but then my boobs got bigger, just kidding.
I remembered that a halter with an elastic in the back is very easy to tailor. So now I have a holiday party outfit that is winter white, and also festive.
I like that this top needs no jewelry, it's like wearing a top and statement necklace together. It's Alice + Olivia from years ago, so I could only find this one in black. But if you like a tube top, this one is perfect.
This beaded white top is perfect for a holiday party with white pants. The beading doesn't make it look too matchy.
The pants are my trusty holiday party goto's: Adam Lippes crepe tuxedo pants (similar here). Only for this look, I lengthened the hem (that's why it's so dirty!) I know, I need to clean them.
They are still hemmed, mind you, but I like them longer. I think the new length maintains the desired look of the pants.
If you like the shorter look, a great choice for white pants as they don't get dirty as fast, check out these Eileen Fisher pants.
Because these are true tuxedo pants, they have a satin trim along the side, having a leg lengthening effect, like these Edun pants.
I also love the satin waistband on tuxedo pants, and a tucked in top is a great way to show that off!
They can barely be seen, but I wore my Manolo Chaos with this look. Check out these Schutz minimalist sandals for a higher heel and better price. These Nordstrom sandals are a perfect dupe for the Manolos, and the price is amazing!
I'm so glad I went shopping in my closet and found this top. And look how happy I am, first smile in the blog!
Hope you all have a great week, and happy holidays!
