Holiday outfit #1
With the holidays coming up, (Thanksgiving is next week! WHAT) I thought I'd share with you some of my holiday outfits. I still haven't decided which holidays or which parties I'll wear them to, so it's a work in progress.
I chose this for my holiday outfit because any time I have a winter white, I make sure to wear it for at least one party.
I don't go to a lot of parties during this time. Just my family's and maybe one or two friends' parties. I am not a big holidays fan. I don't celebrate Christmas, and since I didn't grow up in the States, Thanksgiving isn't nearly as big a production in our family.
For New Year's I usually find something really small and chill. It's a good day for me to set my intentions for the coming year and I need it calm to get my thoughts straight ;)
I do have a reputation among my friends and family as the fashion guru, so even if they don't admit it, they are all looking forward to see what I would wear.
I wanted to go with a really simple minimalist look so I chose a silk white tank that matches perfectly with the pants. The Adam Lippes pants are the classic tuxedo pant, with a contrasting stripe on the side, perfect for a holiday outfit.
This look always reminds me of winter, Christmas, and snow on the ground. Although I don't celebrate Christmas and it's been years since I've been around snow, it still feels really cozy and totally appropriate for a holiday outfit.
I love simple, minimalist looks, so I am really excited about this holiday outfit!
