first post anniversary!

Today is my first post anniversary! It's been one year since my first fashion post. I'm wearing the same outfit again, with a few different things. Part of the reason is to show that something classic can be worn a year apart without anyone really knowing.

These pants are YSL that I bought second-hand, a few days after Yves St. Laurent passed. Straight leg pants are a necessity in any wardrobe. These Vince pants are another favourite pair of mine. These Theory pants have a bit of stretch and are more flattering.

My pants are actually a really dark brown, which I love because they can be worn with black without looking like I'm head to toe all one colour.

The leather waistband on these pants will also help to break up the monotony of the outfit. These Akris pants would also serve that purpose.

In the first post, I wore a sheer tank, but this time I decided on a plain spaghetti strap tank. I also love the subtle print on this tank, it makes it stand out, and once again breaks up an all black outfit. This Derek Lam top also stands because of the embroidery at the neckline.

I changed up the colour scheme of the jewelry as well. In the first post, I wore gold jewelry. Sometimes, changing gold to silver can make a huge difference in how your outfit looks. My bracelet is from a few years ago, but I like the option of stacking several different ones to create a bangle. This Calvin Klein bracelet and Ippolita set will do the trick.

My earrings are Tiffany's. The simple diamond studs are worth the price, as they go with everything. Tiffany's diamonds are of the best quality -- I used to work there, trust me ;)

Obviously, they're expensive, and these are a better price.

I love the 'boucle' look of my jacket. This IRO jacket is what I was going for when I picked it out. This one is perfect too. The style is a great addition to slacks, without looking too strict or conservative.

This jacket is similar on the more casual side, and this Akris coat is the splurge ;)

Just as in the first post (and many others), I'm wearing my Manolo Chaos. It's been proven time and time again that the plain sandal isn't going anywhere. The Stuart Weitzman Nudist is a celebrity fave. These Loeffler Randall sandals are a great quality shoe at a great price.

These Nordstrom shoes are a steal at that price, and a perfect dupe for the Manolos (in black patent).

I hope your Monday goes well, and have a great week!
