I'm a firm believer in that our moods can be changed. Our clothes can be an asset here. Putting on something colourful can instantly brighten our day, and feeling blue doesn't have to be a bad thing.
For another casual jumpsuit at a great price, check out this French Connection piece.
Another way to stop yourself feeling blue is to dress up! This Halston Heritage jumpsuit does the trick. It's a great brand and their clothes always remind me of something 1970s starlets would wear, especially this jumpsuit. I also love this DVF in a similar style.
I love these wing earrings, they're so unique and I especially like wearing them with my hair done how it is here. These 'diamond' wing earrings are super cool too. I also love these with the pink stones, a perfect match for when you're feeling blue ;))
These gold earrings are also really similar to mine, and a great price too!
Shoes are also important to get right, especially if you're feeling blue. The Manolo Chaos take the guesswork out of getting the shoes just right. These Schutz sandals are great for this look too. And these sandals from Nordstrom are also a great minimalist addition to your wardrobe.
Finally, to really end my feeling blue attitude, I went with a furry leopard jacket.
Mine is a cocktail jacket, that's why its shorter and seems tiny. It's the kind of thing you would wear for a night out over an evening dress.
What do you do to cheer yourself up when you're feeling blue?
