[easy-image-collage id=476] Do you ever have a bad day and feel like your outfit was ruined because of it? That is how I feel about this dress...Believe me, you don't even want to know what I was doing.
To add insult to injury, moths chewed up this sweater! But I will not be defeated. I fixed it up, and now it's my go-to whenever I want to look cute, but stay warm.....ish :P
Just because it's overcast and chilly doesn't mean you need to be bumming it. This is definitely I sexy take on the cute, comfy sweater: the vince turtleneck dress (one of my favorite cozy sweaters). Here it is on sale in Almond. There's also a brown-ish one for sale that is not a cowlneck.
I love the line down the back, it adds a unique touch, and makes it look more like a dress. I think originally, this was supposed to be a top :D worn with leggings or something. But who cares what it was originally intended for.
This Neiman Marcus dress is a great option if you can't get your hands on the Vince one. Their cashmere is impeccable quality.
If you want something looser, try this Michelle Mason sweater dress. It's ivory, so it can double as a winter white item.
But as a Vince purist, I have to recommend this sweater, and this turtleneck, they're the same grey color, and you can wear them with pants, if it gets really cold (they look more like the cozy sweaters you would be wearing in the winter).
The Manolo Chaos are perfect here of course. The minimal sandal is a perfect match for cozy sweaters, it offsets the frumpyness that they can bring on. But if it is too cold for open-toed shoes, I would rock these Manolo booties.
I also love these Michael Kors boots in a lower price range.
For jewelry, the earrings were the most important. Any time I spike my hair up, I always want to wear big earrings to enhance my face. Try these awesome ones if you like gold, or these if you want more bling ;) (I actually have those, and wear them with cocktail dresses).
