By changing just a few things around in my usual black pants/white tank outfit, I was able to create a different look than usual. Adding the furry jacket certainly helped.
I decided on a bigger bag even though it's a coffee date and I wouldn't need a bag that size, because it just makes the whole look more casual. It's my usual Ralph Lauren bag. I feel like it's simple, and the classic style is much better than some of the more 'trendy' bags I've seen around. This similar bag is also gorgeous, not to mention a great price.
These Gap pants are a skinnier version that would work well with this look or many others. These straight leg pants from Vince are another perfect black pant. And these cropped pants are also great, especially with boots like mine.
This Vince tank is absolutely my favourite top. It goes with everything, and works on every occasion, a night out, or a simple coffee date. This Vince top is a similar one. I love everything from this designer and could probably buy out the entire line.
The weather has been so volatile that I can't say with certainty if I'm going to need a jacket or not. But if I do wear one, it's going to be a Mongolian fur--looking one.
By cuffing the pants and adding Manolo boots, I made the outfit look more appropriate for our version of winter. Open toe boots are the perfect shoes for a transition into spring. These Tom Ford boots are my dream shoes, but I'll take these Aquazzura on sale any time!
I also love these Rag & Bone boots, the square heel is really easy to walk in. These Kendall + Kylie shoes look pretty cute too. I never tried any of their shoes, but at that price they might be worth a shot.
Now that looks like a fun coffee date, doesn't it?
