Get Your Valentine’s Day Dress On
January seemed like the longest month ever for some reason! But February is here, and you know what that means, Valentine’s Day and date night! This is my favourite time of year because I love getting ready for date nights, and it’s time to get my Valentine’s Day dress on!
I wanted to do something different from the usual black dress date night attire, so I went with this gold dress. I originally bought it to wear around the holidays, but since I got so many other gold things to wear this will work as my Valentine’s Day dress!

What makes this dress work so well is that it’s not painted gold, the thread is actually metallic. This is a better choice than something that has that lame shiny finish, because it will stay gold for a long time. The body-con style is also a perfect choice for your Valentine’s Day dress, or any other date night! The boning makes it fit perfectly, while the ruching hides all the bagels I ate earlier ;))
For my accessories I wanted to once again choose something more unique than black. I love this little Zara bag because it’s green and matches perfectly with the snake-skin Manolos. It’s a great match for your Valentine’s Day dress, and green is flattering on everyone. I found a few similar bags with different price points for you to check out.
I was always made fun of for not being able to properly gauge what is weather-appropriate attire, and this look sums it all up perfectly! It’s been so warm this year that I’ve been wearing sandals non stop. But since it gets chilly at night I always take a jacket with me. I realize this outfit might look silly with the open toe shoes, but I love them too much to care!
